8 months

Today marks 8 months sobriety for me. Thank God! I’ve never been happier, either. I don’t know why this anniversary seems to be a “big” one for me, maybe because we just had the Best Christmas Ever. Maybe because I’m unemployed but not miserable. Maybe because I’m blessed.

    That is absolutely amazing. Though it sounds bizarre to say, given that we’ve met face-to-face only a few times, but I’ve come to have a tremedous level of respect for you. This only bolsters that respect. Congratulations, and well done.

    The drive got to me, methinks. Nothing like sitting in a car for 90 minutes to go less than eight miles. GAH!
