On this date last year I made an admission that seemed to come out of nowhere. Out of nowhere for me, at least. Perfectly obvious to everyone who knew me. My story isn’t any different than a million other alcoholics, only that it’s my story. I’ve been blessed with supportive family and friends, and now my own acceptance of God’s help, all of which have been integral in my recovery. My story turns 1 today. Happy Birthday to me!
