The Aurora Symphony Orchestra’s July 4th concert is next week. Guess what day?
Make an evening of it - the performance with the Rocky Mountain Brassworks begins at 8:00pm and ends at 9:15, just in time for the fireworks. There’s a great lawn between the Aurora Municipal Center and the Central Library that is perfect for fireworks viewing - and is coincidentally the site of the performance. The city is providing vendors, etc at the site, so you can eat there if you like. Traffic will get heavy after about 6:30 so plan ahead!
Pay no attention to this article that says there will be 100,000 people. There will be 4,000-5,000 onsite. The city’s blurb on the event is here, and Your Hub is here.
Just to drive the city (and other community orchestras) nuts, we’ve also arranged for an Air Force flyover. Now tell me, what other orchestra do you know that gets their own air support?

Yes, but Raphael wants to know if Darth Vader will be there again this year.
If Raphi is there, doesn’t that mean that Darth Vader is already there - by definition?
