It’s not enough that the Dems in the state legislature don’t want students to have the math and science skills they need, now they can’t even bring themselves to hold the most basic standard for a high school graduate. Yesterday, the House Education Committee killed a proposal to make English competency a high school graduation requirement.
Oh, perfect sense. Thanks, guys. That’s what we elect you for! Absolute nonsense. So Colorado can graduate students that don’t have the basic English skills to get a job. Great. Colorado is one of six states that does not have comprehensive graduation requirements, and the current majority party is doing everything possible to make sure that doesn’t change. So public schools are crap and they think that homeschooler/charter schools deserve a special place in hell. How can this be reconciled?
