I had the follow up interview today. Met the team, the hiring manager (again), and the VP. The team is young and really want to know why I’d take a “step down” to do the work. The VP was slightly intense, but in a friendly way. The hiring manager told me afterwards that there were 100 original applicants whittled down to the 4 they met today.

Work wouldn’t suck anymore if I got this job. At least, not right away ;-)
