Did you know?

Unemployment figures are high, right? I was laid off in November, and every time I mention it to someone I get to hear how everyone they know has been laid off, too. Anybody that catches the news knows that 2.6 million jobs were lost in 2008. Bad, right?

Know this - there are more people employed right now than five years ago. Employment grew in that period. Unemployment did, too, but not for the reasons the media would like you to believe. Unemployment rose because jobs did not keep pace with population growth. Now you know.

    THIS INFORMATION is another reason I never believe anything on TV news or the newspapers. Good heavens, wall to wall Obama coverage BEFORE the coronation, er, ah, I mean the inauguration. I’ve had enough!
