Yeah, Obama’s a leftist. What a surprise. Oh well. Be prepared.

….what do I do now? I’m a janitor. Pretty much, anyway. And I’m damn happy about it, too. Today I replaced tiles in the suspended ceiling behind the altar. The only economy I’m contributing to is that within the church’s walls.
One of my favorite things behind that altar is the icon that made it through the fire. It is mostly blackened, but you can still see the images. If I’m not mistaken, it’s the icon of the Three Hierarchs. Or something akin to it.
I attended the Pre-Sanctified Liturgy at the cathedral tonight? Did you attend St. Catherine’s tonight?
I’ve been wondering what the story is behind that icon. It’s amazing to be around, really. Alas, no liturgy tonight - rehearsal tonight for the big symphony concerts this Saturday. I should have the next couple of Wednesdays free, though. That’s one of my “favorite” services.
