Ben is one of my best buddies, and he’s going through a rough time. Again. His neuroblastoma has been in remission for several years but a tumor appeared a couple of weeks ago. The tumor was removed, the bone marrow biopsy came back negative. That’s not all, though - there’s much more treatment to go. There’s no point in my telling you Ben’s story when you can read it here.
This is where you come in:
Unfortunately, pediatric cancer treatment isn’t cheap. We guesstimate that the last time around his treatment was upwards of $1,000,000. (Really, we heard that the bone marrow transplant was $500K alone and I actually got to see some bills from the hospital pre-insurance that were in the $100K range.) Fortunately we have good insurance to take care of most of the costs but there are still the out of pocket expenses and co-pays… (You can turn of the pity-party music now.)
The Brewers are some of our best friends and they need our help. Can you help? Will you?
