To give the proposed economic stimulus plan some perspective, “if you started the day Jesus Christ was born and spent $1 million every day since then, you still wouldn’t have spent $1 trillion.

Unemployment figures are high, right? I was laid off in November, and every time I mention it to someone I get to hear how everyone they know has been laid off, too. Anybody that catches the news knows that 2.6 million jobs were lost in 2008. Bad, right?
